Vivaretrieva is a small breeder that sometimes has puppies available.

Prospective buyers are asked to complete a comprehensive questionnaire to make sure of a suitable match. A holding fee (refundable up until one week before pick-up date) of $500 secures your puppy.

Updates are provided on a private Facebook group, where buyers can see the puppies and Dam, our facilities and our enrichment activities with the puppies as they grow.

We choose puppies for families based on what we observe of their temperament and the buyers requirements. The balance of the purchase price is paid at the scheduled time of pick up at 8 weeks of age. Your holding fee is fully refundable if for some reason we are unable to provide you with a puppy. We will not hold a deposit for a future litter.

We do not ship puppies overseas. We prefer buyers to pick up themselves where possible, rather than use puppy transport, however we are able to send puppies interstate via air transport during the cooler months of the year.

Vivaretrieva puppies:

* have ANKC Limited Register pedigree papers
* come from pedigree parents who have hip, elbow, eye, heart and DNA testing
* are vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked and wormed
* come with a comprehensive care booklet (pdf)
* are raised following “Puppy Culture” and other enrichment protocols which includes early neurological stimulation, training using rewards, and introducing your puppy to various sounds and items to help them cope with new things. We have begun training in regard to house training, preventing resource guarding, coping with stress, car travel, crate training, recall and socialisation.
* come with 4 weeks free Pet Insurance from Knose (up to 2 months free if you continue with Knose)
* have regular video and photo updates on our closed Facebook group
* come with both Blackhawk and Lyka puppy packs

Puppies are well handled from birth and introduced to all the sights and sounds of our household. Mum whelps inside our house and Mum and pups stay inside with us for the first four to six weeks, then puppies stay in our large puppy accommodation with outdoor run. We do not keep our dogs in kennels.
